2021 Seafood and Wild Game Dinner and Auction

33rd Annual Skagit Rotary Seafood and Wild Game Dinner & Auction!

Since 1987, the Skagit Rotary Charitable Foundation, funded by the Seafood & Wild Game Dinner & Auction, has given more than $2 Million to local and international projects.  We focus on projects that will better the community with a specific emphasis on youth.  We have helped fund the construction of McIntyre Hall, the Skagit Valley Hospital Cancer Care Center and Mental Health Center, the Skagit Community Action Remodel, the Skagit YMCA, programs in Mount Vernon Schools, the Food Bank Distribution Center, Boys & Girls Clubs, the Skagit Children's Museum, Skagit Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Services Bayview Women's Run, Community Action of Skagit County Project Homeless Connect, and countless other local organizations with program needs.  We also help individuals, like purchasing an ipad for an autistic foster care student or helping local soccer players afford exhibition trips with their teams.  We give to international efforts, like the fight to eradicate polio, and we built, with the help of matching grants from Rotary International, a health outpost in Gashanda, Rwanda so that a rural community could have access to medical care.  We participate in work parties, some of which have included Little Mountain Trail Building and work at Camp Kirby.  We hold an annual winter clothing drive called Coats for Kids and distribute, with the help of Community Action Agency, more than 1500 coats a year to needy families.  But our biggest area of financial contribution in Skagit County is through scholarships.  We give over $100,000 in scholarships EACH YEAR to graduating high school seniors in Skagit County.  These kids go on to do great things, and we are proud to help them on their way.
Your support of our auction guarantees that we will be able to continue to financially support the many worthy causes in Skagit County.  And you will have fun doing it!  Check out the links on the left for ticket prices and information, a list of silent and live auction items, and a full menu.  We will feature lots of great wine and beer, a huge seafood ice bar and exotic hors d'oeuvres (legally sourced, though legend has it that preparation for this auction used to include such follies as alligator hunts!), games and raffles, and great conversation.  Come support Skagit Rotary on January 30, 2021!
